TIRES: Dave Grueneberg can have tires at the track should you need them. He would just need sizes or split in advance. Again Rockford Speedway is our official tire source for 2023, but there are no limitations on where you buy them from. This will be a 4 tire event. Today is likely your deadline to reach out to Dave!
HEAD AND NECK RESTRAINTS: For those competitors joining us for the first time this year, these are mandatory. Please refer to the Mid-Am rule book for a complete run down. A NecksGen is completely fine!
PIT PAY/PIT PASSES: Pit Pay is available for this event, if you would like to speed up your time getting into the pits. Please download the app to your phone. Additionally, pit passes will be available Friday starting at 4:00pm during hauler parking!
SUNDAY DRIVERS MEETING: Drivers please make sure you have your suit on or near you. We will be taking another group photo immediately following the drivers' meeting.
MID-AM YEARLY MEMBERSHIP For those of you who have not registered for membership this year, this will need to be done before your first laps on the track. A few of you have paperwork to give us, we will touch base with you on Saturday. Membership sign-up is https://shorturl.at/dDSTU
PAYOUT CHANGES We still have a few checks for drivers from Madison, we will pass those out first thing on Saturday. Going forward we will be paying out in cash as soon as the tower has results. See Tim at every race in the tech trailer for payout IMMEDIATELY following the feature. We have a process in place to save time, and get you on the road sooner!
TECH ITEMS TO BE PREPARED FOR: 1. Frame heights 2. Squat tests (12 seconds no exceptions) 3. Valance/side skirt heights 4. Body heights/spoiler heights and widths 5. Belts/window/nets/PPE dates 6. Fire extinguisher check 7. Fuel system check valve 8. Raceceiver/Transponder check
SATURDAY NIGHT RACERS GATHERING Following the Saturday practice day Mid-Am Driver Mike Lange has invited ALL racers to his local establishment within a few minutes of the track. Food/Drink specials and a great time to just relax! Lets support drivers and busiensses who support us and plan to be there. More details to come!
